amount of $7,688.20 and the number, &enominatior_ and character of such
bonds shall be as follows:
Slid bonds shall be dated the 5th day of January, 1920 and shall
be of the character -,norm as serials. One tenth part of the total
amount of the bonds evidencing said indebtedness shall be payableon the
2nd day of July 1921, and one-tenth part of said total indebtedness
shall be rovable or the 2nd cla,r of July of each and every year there-
after to and including the 2nd day. o3 July, 1930.
Said total indebtedness shall be evidenced by ten (10) bonds of
the denonir_atioa of five hundred (500) dollars each; ten (1) bonds of
the denomination of T:vo hundred (200) dollars each; and ten (10) bonds
of t". -tee denomination of Eighty-eight and 82/1.00 ( 88.82) dollars each.
One (1) of said bonds of the denomination of five hundred (500)
doliars each; one (1) of said bonds of the denomination of Two hundred
( 200) dollars each; an4 one (1) of said bonds of the denomination of
Einhty-ei6ht and 82/100 (88.82) dollars each shall mature and be n able
on the 2nd CEc7 of July, 1921, and one (1) of said bonds of a like
denomination shall mature and be payable on the 2nd day of July of each
and every year thereafter to and including the 2nd day of July, 1930.
Said bonds shall be numbered 1 to 30, both inclusive, as follcws:-

Under and by virtue of the act of the legislature of the State
of California, entitled "An act to provide for the i seance of
improvement bonds to re -present and be secured by certain assessments
made for the cost of certain woris e, d improvements made in and, upon
streets, avenues, lanes, alleys, courts, places and cide:7ali s within
municipalit-'ec and upon property and rights of way orned by municip—
alities, to provide for the collection of such assessments, the sale
of the property affected thereby and for the payment of the bonds so
issued", a. -,proved June 11th, 1915, and wrendments thereto, the Cit, {

is hereinafter specified, and at the of::ice of the treasurer of said F_

T.' -,is bond is one of several annual series of bonds of like date,
tenor aad effect, but differi.ig in anon .ts and maturities, issued
by said municipality* under said act for the purpose of providing
means for paging for tre worts and iar— ovements des--=ibed in said
- Resolution of Intention, and is secured b.r the moneys in said :-cdemp-
tion fund and by the unpaid assessments made for t1}e payment of said
work, and, including principal and merest, is psWable exclusivel:
out of said fund.
The interest is payable semi-annually, to-rit: On the second
days of January and Ju -1y in each year hereafter, upon nresentation
of tha prover coupons therefor; provided, that the first of said
couponsis for the interest to the second day of January, 1921, and
tbereaf ter the interest coupons are for the semi-annual interest.
This bond trill continue to bear interest after maturity at the
rate above stated; providel, it is presented at maturity and payment
thereof is refused anon the sole ground that there is not s;n:ficient
moneys in said redemption fund with which to pay same. If it is not
presented. at maturity interest thereon will ran anti_ maturity.
This bond may be redeemed and raid in advuace c: naturit.y upon
the second day of July in any year b,, givia; the notice provided in
said act.
