HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 01-03-1922�- 05 Nadi, California January 3rd., 1922. :a date of the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi falling on a holiday, the regular meeting oras therefore automatically postponed to 8 o'clock P.!. of Jan- uary 3rd. by the operation of Sections 10 and 13 -of the rolitic- al Oode, the Board convenening at the hour and on the date last mentioned. On call of the roll, Trustees :.'ontgomary, Cross, kale, andaiciok were present, Trustee Rich absent. The minutes of the adjourned regular meeting of Dec. 29th 1921 were read and aavroved. The report oftheCity Plumbing as received and ordered filed. Letters acknowledging receipt of communications .written at the order of the Board to the State Railroad Commission in regard to the poor service of the Sacramento Gas Company in the City and th the Governor in regard to the proposed repeal of Section 35 of the 11otor Vehicle Act were read and ordered filed. The Cit;, Marshal Is report for December was read and also ordered filed. On receipt of notice from the City Planning Commission that the terms of Messrs George Le .caber and Prank O.r%ale would expire January ?st, 1982, the Board unanimously%appoint- ed the same gentlemen to serve, each, for a term of two years from and after January lst. 'Ir. R. E. Kirkpatrick, consulting engineer, addressed a letter to the Board in regard to a preliminary survey of local conditions in the matter of sewage disposal. Pive Building Permits, for buildings at an estimated cost of 515.900 ware granted. On motion of Trustee Hale, seconded by Trustee Cross, bi-.ls to the amount of X9,642.24 were allowed and ordered paid. In the matter of the change of name of Lancaster Court to Olive,Court, a petition.that the original name be retained was pre4ented. The Clerk was instructed to inform the petitioners that it was still the purpose of the Board to matte th6se two atreets unite under one name, what name being immaterial, and if they cogld procure the assent of a majority of the residents on Olive Court, the consolidated street would be named 1ancaster. In the matter of the change of name of Woodbridge Avenue, the Board ordered this Street changed to Forrest Avenue by the adaption of Resolution No. 208 by the following vote: to -wit: AYES: Trustees, Crose, Hale, Hickok, :,iontgomery. NOEES; Trustees, None. Absent, Trustee Rich. On motion of Trustee Hickok, duly seconded, the Board adjourned to L:on_P_y,- January 9th, 1922 at the _hour of 8 o'clock P.M.
