Pursaant to adjournmenz taken from he regular adjourned session of December 26, 1922, the Board of 1:rustees of tae City of Lodi met in adjourned regular session at 8 o'clock P.M. on the date first above written. Trustees Hale, Hickok, Spooner, Isettler and Shattuck present, the latter presiding. By unanimous consent, the reading of the minutes was pass- ed and the Board proceeded to bear persons in attendance on various matters as follows: On application, St. Agnes Academy at the corner of Pleasant and '.';a.Inut Streets, was allowed the privilege of erecting. two extra electroliers at their own expense. A communication from the State Law Enforcement League re- garding activities of the League,was ordered filed. A communication from W. H. Lorenz and J. C. Bewley regard- ing the annexation of the North 12 acres of "Bewley's Suburban Acres" when the same should be subdivided into city lots, was ordered filed, it appearing that the Board could take no action at this time. The report of F. Christensen, City Marshal, for the month of December 1922, was read and ordered filed. The Clerk reported that the insurance policy on the old Seagrave fire track had expired on December 21st, and recommended that the same be not renewed as the protection to this equipment was not worth the premium charged. -after di 5cussion this policy was allowed to lapse. Ten building peznnits for structures at a gross estimated cost of .116,215.00 were granted or formal application. This being the date set for the sale of bonds to issue upon the security of the unpaid assessments on Oak Street, (Resolution of Intention No.54),Locust Street. (Resolution of Intention 55), Rose Street, (Resolution of Intention 56), and Cordier. Street, (Re- solution of Intention 57), and it appearing that notice of said sale had been published properly as required by law and resolution of the Board of Trustees, the Board proceeded to publicly open and declare the bide recei7ed for each of tae above lots of bonds which bids were as follows* For the Locust Street Bonds, the Lodi National Bank bidding par and accrued interest, the sole bidders; For the Oak Street Bonds, the Lodi National Bank bidding par, accrued interest and 512.50; t -ie sole bidders; For the Rose Street Bonds, the Lodi National Bank bidding par, accrued interest and x12.50, the sole bidders; For the Cordier Street Bonds, the Lodi National Bank bidding par, accrued interest and $12.50. It appearing that the bids in the above were in proper form and acco=panied by the specified bidding deposit. the Board proceed- ed to award the bonds to the Locli National Bank by the passage of the following resolutions by the vote displayed after each: Resolution of Award Jo. 364 awarding the Lodi National Barfl< the Locus-. Street Bonds at par and accrued interestl AYES: Trustees Hickok, Leztle r, Hale, Spooner, Shattuck. NOES: None ABSENT: -None. Resolution of Award No. 365 awarding The Lodi National Bank the Oak Street Bonds at• par, accrued interest and 512.50: AYES: Hale, Hickok, _11e7tler, Spooner, Shattuck. NOES: None ABVENT: None.
