HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 2017-39RESOLUTION NO. 2017-39 A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL SETTING THE CITY OF LODI ELECTRIC UTILITY'S ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROGRAM 10 -YEAR TARGET WHEREAS, per Assembly Bill 2021, State law requires publicly -owned electric utilities to identify all potentially achievable cost-effective energy efficiency savings; and WHEREAS, State law requires publicly -owned electric utilities to set targets for energy efficiency every three years to cover the following 10 years; and WHEREAS, Lodi Electric Utility staff has identified and recommends that the City Council set a total target of 14,965 megawatt hours of electric energy savings from 2018 to 2027, or an average annual target of 0.34 percent of total projected energy sales during this period. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby set the City of Lodi Electric Utility's energy efficiency program 10 -year target as required under California law as outlined above.
