HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - September 15, 1999 E-18CITY OF LODI COUNCIL COMMUNICATION AGENDA TITLE: Accept Improvements Under Contract for Lodi Lake Wading Pool, 1101 West Turner Road MEETING DATE: September 15, 1999 PREPARED BY: Public Works Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements under the Lodi Lake Wading Pool, 1101 West Turner Road contract and direct the City Engineer to file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's Office. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The project was awarded to Geremia Pools, Inc., of Sacramento, on December 16, 1998, in the amount of $131,697.20. The contract has been completed in substantial conformance with the plans and specifications approved by City Council. The contract completion date was May 3, 1999, and the actual completion date was May 3, 1999. The final contract price was $ 132,681.70. The difference between the contract amount and the final contract price is mainly due to various additions and deletions to the contract which resulted in a net contract total of $132,681.70. FUNDING: Budgeted Fund: 1997/98 Community Development Block Grant Fund $45,000.00 General Mills Grant $32,000.00 Parks Capital Improvement Fund $73,000.00 Contract Amount $132,681.70 Richard C.
