HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 2016-171RESOLUTION NO. 2016-171 A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE TASER BODY CAMERA CONTRACT OVER A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS WHEREAS, on December 15, 2015, the Lodi Police Department received Council approval of a five-year contract with TASER International, Inc., of Scottsdale Arizona, ("TASER") for 75 body cameras, eight docking stations and the TASER Assurance Plan ("TASER contract"); and WHEREAS, after all items of the original TASER contract were received in July 2016, the department determined that four additional docking stations and wall mounts were needed to properly store and charge the body cameras; and WHEREAS, the full cost of the additional purchases is $10,851.91 over the five fiscal years. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby authorize the City Manager to execute the TASER body camera contract for the purchase of four additional docking stations with wall mounts, in an amount not to exceed $10,851.91, over a period of five years.
