HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 3047RESOLUTION NO. 3047 AWARD - FURNISHINGS FOR THE PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened by the City Clerk of this City on April 27, 1967, for the furnishing and installation of furniture, carpet, draperies and accessories for the Public Safety Building as described in the specifications therefor approved by the City Council on April 5, 1967; and WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked and tabulated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager, as follows: Item 1 Item 2 Item 3 Furn, & Acc. Extra file 823.00 85.00 -0- -0- -0- -0- -0- -0- -0- 14, 80 WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that award be made to the lowest responsible bidder each on Items 1, 2 and 3 and Alternate B; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lodi that award of contract for the furnishing of furniture and accessories for the Public Safety Building, as above set forth as Item 1 and Alternate B, be and the same is hereby made to the lowest responsible bidder for said items, M. Newfield & Sons, in accordance with their bid. FURTHER RESOLVED, that award of contract for the furnishing and installation of carpet and drapery for the Public Safety Building, as above set forth in Items 2 and 3, be and the same is hereby made to the lowest responsible bidder on said items, Western Contract Furnishers, in accordance with their bid, Dated: May 3, 1967 I hereby certify that Resolution No. 3047 was passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in regular meeting held May 3, 1967, by the following vote: .21 Ayes: Councilmen Brown, Culbertson, Walton and Hunnell Noes: None Abse4t.—Mayor Kirsten City C lei.k 3047
