HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 2015-103RESOLUTION NO. 2015-103 A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AMENDING SALARY AND BENEFITS FOR THE CONFIDENTIAL GENERAL SERVICES EMPLOYEES EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2015 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2017 WHEREAS, historically, the City Council has treated the confidential (unrepresented) employees in the same manner as their represented counterparts; and WHEREAS, the City has negotiated a successor Memorandum of Understanding with AFSCME General Services Unit that provides amendments to salary and benefits; and WHEREAS, the City wishes to provide the Confidential General Services employees with the same amendments to salary and benefits as the AFSCME General Services employees; and WHEREAS, it is recommended that Council provide the same salary and benefits to the Confidential General Services employees as those provided to the represented AFSCME General Services employees as follows: • A one-time bank of 40 hours of cashable leave. • Notary Public incentive of $40 per month. • Increase the overtime meal allowance from $20 to $25 and process through payroll. • Increase the maximum accrual of Compensatory Time Off (CTO) to 184 hours and allow cash out. • Maximum amount the City will pay towards medical premiums will be increased by the lower of 3% or the actual cost increase (for the employee's applicable cap) for those employees whose annual base salary is less than $42,100 for calendar year 2016 and $43,000 for calendar year 2017. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby approve the amendments referenced above for the Confidential General Services employees, effective January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2017.
