A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL
APPROVING AN APPROPRIATION FOR HARNEY LANE
GRADE SEPARATION RIGHT-OF-WAY ACQUISITION IN
THE AMOUNT OF $239,100
WHEREAS, the Harney Lane/Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) Grade Separation is an
overpass bridge structure being developed as part of the City's future plan to widen
Harney Lane from two lanes to four lanes between the western limits at Lower Sacramento
Road to the State Route 99 interchange; and
WHEREAS, the Measure K Renewal program will provide $829,782 toward the final cost
of $1,311,000 for right-of-way, utility easements and temporary construction easements; and
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $242,118 were appropriated at the March 19, 2014
City Council meeting when the Measure K funding agreement was approved; and
WHEREAS, an additional appropriation of Regional Transportation Impact Fees in the
amount of $239,100 is needed to provide the balance of remaining costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby approve
the appropriation of $239,100 from Regional Transportation Fees for the Harney Lane Grade
Separation right-of-way acquisition.
