HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 2012-161RESOLUTION NO. 2012-161 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI APPROVING THE EXPANSION OF THE SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY ENTERPRISE ZONE BOUNDARIES WHEREAS, the City cf Lodi is part of the San Joaquin County Enterprise Zone (the "Enterprise Zone"), which was established on June 22, 2008; and WHEREAS, other Enterprise Zone participants wish to expand the boundaries of the Enterprise to include the geographic area set forth in the attached boundary map attached as Exhibit A, and incorporated herein by this reference; and WHEREAS, land included with the proposed expansion area is zoned for industrial or commercial use, or has an approved Conditional Use Permitfor such uses; and WHEREAS, basic infrastructure is available to the area that would be included in the proposed expansion area; and WHEREAS, San Joaquin County will submit a written request as required to the California Department of Housing and Community Development to have its enterprise zone boundaries expanded. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lodi does hereby support and approve the San Joaquin County Enterprise Zone expansion into the parcels listed on Exhibit A.
