A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL APPROVING
THE PURCHASEAND INSTALLATION OF PERMANENT
RECOGNITION PLAQUES FOR CURRENT ART IN PUBLIC
PLACES PIECESAND APPROPRIATING FUNDS
WHEREAS, on August 25, 2010, the Art Advisory Board approved funding in the
amount of $3,164.81 for five bronze plaques at the following Art in Public Places sites:
"Better Days," "The Sacramento Street Mural," the "Japantown Memories" mural, and
two plaques for the "Celebrate the Harvest" sculpture.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby
approve the purchase and installation of the five bronze recognition plaques to be
installed at the current art sites; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funds in the amount of $3,164.81 be
appropriated from the Art in Public Places Fund (Account No. 1214).
