A competent man in the employ of the contractor shall- remain with the apparatus for a poriod not exceodinG throe (3) clays, during which instructions in operating the apparatus shall be given to such members of tho fire department as the Chief of tho r'iro Department shall designate; all cxponse of operating, prior to acceptance Or to being placed in fire service, shall be borne by the contractor.
