RESOLUTION Di0. 979
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PETITION TO THE HOARD
CIF' SUPERVISORS FOR THE CANCELLATION CF TAXES
WHEREAS, since the first Monday of March 1938 and
on the dates hereinafter set forth, the City of Lodi acquired
title to the following described parcels of real property, viz:
FARCEL 1 from Earl C. and Mildred hossholder by
deed dated September 10, 1938 recorded September 28, 1938:

PARCEL 2 from 4villiam H. and Nellie F. Donahue
by deed dated July 1, 1938 recorded July 8, 1938:
LODI BARNHART TRACT - N 1 Acre of Lot 4.3 and,
WHEREAS, on the said first Monday in March. 1938 the
lien. for San Joaquin County taxes did attach to said parcels
and taxes were levied in accordance with law a.s against Parcel
1 in the amount of 42.15 and as against Parcel 2 in the amount
of :!.311..96, and,
WHEREAS, said lands now being the property of this
City are not subject to sale for delinquent taxes,
BE IT RESOI.\TED, that, the Mayor be, and he is hereby
authorized and directed for and on behalf of this City Council
to petition the Hoard of Supervisors of the County of San
Joaquin to cancel said taxes and any and all previous taxes,
(if any), and. any penalties and costs assessed against either
of said parcels, all in accordance with the provisions of
Section 3804-a of the Political Code of this state.
