HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 947In the City Council City of Lodi Lodi, California RESOLUTION NO. 90 RESOLUTION SETTING DATE FOR REARING ON ALLEGED PROTESTS A:AINST THE OPENING OF TOKAY AND CHURCH STREETS AS UNDERTAKEN TINDER RESOLUTION NO. 9L111. WHEREAS, this City council of the City of Lodi did, on the third day of January, 1938, pass and. adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 9) , wherein it stated that said City Council intended to do the following work and improvement in said city, to wit: (1) That TOKAY STREET be opened, widened and extended from the west line of the Lodi Barnhart Tract to the east line of South Sacramento Street, and from the west line of Youth. Sacramento Street to the west line of L"outh Church Street extended southerly. (2) That South Church Street be opened, widened and extended from its present termination at the north. line of Lot 1, Block 7 of "tlutchins Addition to the Town of Lodi" to the southern city limit line on the Kettleman-Terminous Road. AND, WHEREAS, notice of the adoption of said Resolution No. 9L4 was published in time, form and manner in the "Lodi Times" the official publication of said. City as is evidenced by the affidavit of Ruth S. Durfey on file and of record. in the office of the City Clerk of this City, and, WHEREAS, notice similar in form and substance to that published as aforesaid was posted. along the line of said contemplated work and improvement as required by law as is evidenced by the affidavit of Clifford Gatzert, also on file and of record in the office of said City Clerk; and, WHEREAS, over ten days have elapsed since the final publication of said. notice and since the posting thereof and two (2) objections or alleged objections have been filed with the City Clerk by persons interested in the lands to be assessed to pay the cost and. expenses of said work and improvement; BE IT RESOLVED, tnat this City Council does and it hereby sets Monday, the 21st day of February at 8:00 o'clock P.A. of said day and. the Council Chambers of this City Council 11I the City hall in this City as the time and place when and where said objections shell be heard. The City Clerk will notify the said objectors or purported objectors of such hearing in the manner provided by law. Resolution No. 947 _2..
