RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AN APPLICATION
FOR APPROVAL OF EMOONCY RELIEF $DM INISTRA�IQN; PROJfI�T
FOR EXTENSION OF SANITARY -MRS'AND NORM I�iAINS.
`�'1NftZAS, this City Council did on the 17th day of December, 1984, by the
adoption of its Resolution Na 73�9 apply to the Emergency Relief Admin-
istration for approval of a proj4ot for construction of certain sanitary
'sewers and storm drains, which project was approved and is nearing';
successful eompletion, thereby providing permanent and necessary facilities
to the citizens of this City and furnishing work to a great many men
why would have otherwise been um-employq*;
AIJD,kWHRRSAS, thie City Council noir finds that funds, for materials are
still available wherewith this City may purchase piping necessary and
hire the; neeessary supervision to further extend said sewer and storm drain
linea;
BE, IT RESOLVED, that application be made to the. Emergency Relief Adwinis:t-
ration; for approval of a project :- to wit:

The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to sign said application
far and on behalf of thls City and Mr Cliatcn U. Henning 1s hereby desig"
nated'^as the. person who will supervise: smid project in the event of its
approval by the Emergency Relief Administration,
Attention is again called to the fact that this City has never .Levied
direct assessments against property for sewer or storm dral.n installation
but has consistently. constr�oted the same from General. Fund Moneyse
