&REAS in accordance with a certain agreement, the ex-
ecution of which was ordered b- this City Council of the City
of Lodi on January 30th.,1928 there is due the sum of Five
Thousand Dollars (55,00'0.00) less certain suns in said a ,ree-
Tent specified, to 0, A. Schroeder and Bina H. Schroeder, his
wife, in payment for the conveyance to the City of Lodi of the
following described real property ;
The Northerly sixty feet of each of Lots 1 and 2 in
Block 1 of Larscns Pine ntreet Addition to Lodi.
B3 IT ?SOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lodi
that a warrant be drama on the City Treasury, payable out of
the General and of said City in the amount+ o* Five Thousand
Dollars, ($5,000.00) , and mads payable to Consolidated Title
Insurance Company of Stockton, said payment to be held in
escrow by said Title Insurance Company and payments made
therefrom in accordance with the aeiTeene_nt ?irst herein men-
tioned.

ed and adopted by the following vote: -

A.t the s.`estion of Councilman seihe, an anendment to the
present oarkin ordinance was ordered so as prohibit the park-
ing of automobiles on the lest ;gide of Jacrav:ento Street bet-
ween 2Im Street and 'Central California Traction Company's of-
fices.
Cr. motion of Councilman Shattuck, Roach second, Lodi
Grammar School District :,as allowed a rate on electricity for
heating of one cent (1X) 'per kilowatt hour effective from
meter readings of January 20th.,1928
Bills in the amount of $24,086.38 as approved by the
Finance Committee were allowed and ordered paid on motion of
Councilman 5 attuck, Jeihe second.
On notion of Councilman Jeihe, the Council adjourned to
meet February 20th.,1928 at 8 o'clock ?.I. in the Council
