ADDITION TO LODI, 'No1 THE PROPERTY OF
VETERANS WELFAREBOARD OF THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, VeteranelWelfare Board of the State of Calif.,
ornia has petitioned for the cancellation of property taxes
assessed in the year 1927 against the following described
parcel of land in the City of Lodi, to-4it:-
'Lot 12 in Block 8 of $utchin's High School 6ddition to
RESOLVED, that said assessment as to taxes be and the

he City flax Collector with the amount of said taxes, to wit',
the sum of Six Dollars ($6.UO) and the City Tax Collector shall
enter at the proper place on the assessment roll and upon
Tax Receipt No. 666 the fact of this cancellation and the
date and number of this Resolution. Nothing herein shall cancel
any payment due or to become due for street improvement liens
against this parcel or for interest thereon;

by the City Council of the City of Lodi at a regguular
meeting of said Council bald Monday, December bth.,1927

10 Your Petitioner alleges as follows:
11 That on the recording date of the deed following the herein -
1Z after described parcel of real property, your Petitioner, the
13 Veterans' Welfare Board of the State of California, a public corpor-
14 ation, was, ever since has been, and now is, the owner of said real
16 property.

Hutchins High School Addition to Lodi", filed for record July 2,
22 1912 in, Volume 6 of Maps and Plats, page 27, San Joaquin County
Records.

1 WHEREFORE, your Petitioner prays that an order be made and
2 entered by your Honorable board, in accordance with Chapter 252,
3 Statutes of 1925, direCting the officer in charge of the Records

17 George M. Stout, being first duly sworn, deposes and says:
18 That he is an officer of the Veterans' Welfare board of the State

21 he has read the annexed and foregoing petition and knows the
22 contents thereof, and that the same is
23 , information and belief,
of said City of Lodi to cancel the taxes levied upon each and
all of the foregoing assessments, together with the penalties and
costs, if any, attached thereto.
This.prayer is directed only to assessments for taxes, and
your Petitioner does not request the cancellation of any special
assessments for street work, or other improvements of like Character.
