A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL
ACCEPTING A PROPOSAL FROM THE ART ADVISORY
BOARD FOR A SEWARD JOHNSON SCULPTURE
EXHIBIT IN DOWNTOWN LODI
WHEREAS, on May 26, 2010, the Art Advisory Board voted to create an ad hoc
committee to research the Seward Johnson Interactive Sculpture Exhibit, which includes
ten sculptures of various characters posed in everyday situations; and
WHEREAS, the Art Advisory Board recommends that the City Council accept the
proposal to place the Exhibit in Downtown Lodi during the period April 2011 through mid-
July 2011.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby
accept the proposal from the Art Advisory Board for a "Seward Johnson Sculpture
Exhibit' in Downtown Lodi for display for the period April 2011 through mid-July 2011;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funds in the amount of $30,000 be
appropriated from Account No. 01214 - Art in Public Places for this exhibit.

City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting held September 1, 2010, by the
following vote:
