on motion of Trustee Spooner, seconded by Trustee Hickok, laid
over until Tuesday, December 26th,1922.
OP.DINAITCE No. 137, entitled, "AN ORDIMITCE REGULATING
TRLFFIC ASID PA.YEING OF AUTOMOBILES UPON THE STREETS IN THE CITY
OF LODI, PROVIDIITG A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF, ASID RE-
PEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEIMjVITH," having been regular-
ly introduced at a regular meeting of the Board held December 4,
1922, and thereat laid over for not less than five days, was in-
troduced for passage, passed and adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Hale, Hickok, Mettler, Spooner,Shattuck.
NOES: None ABSr"INv : None.
Resolution No. 359 was then introduced, the same extending
the time for the reception of bids on the mechanical features of
the proposed Sewage Disposal Plant to Thursday,January 18.1923,
and thereupon adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Settler, Hickok, Hale, Spooner, Shattuck.
:30ES : None ABSEIT : None.
Resolution No. 361 authorizing issue of bonds to be secur-
ed by the unpaid assessments on Sacramento Street was then intro-
duced and adopted, there being no protests filed• by the following
vote:
AYES: Hickok, Spooner, :settler, Hale, Shattuck.
NOES: None ABSENT: None.
There being no protests against the issuance of bonds to
be secured by the unpaid assessments on Stockton Avenue, the bonds
were ordered issued by the passage of Resolution No. 360 by the
following vote:
AYES: Mettler, Hickok,Hale, Spooner, Shattuck.
NOBS: : Pone ABSM71 : None .
On motion of Trustee Hickok, seconded by Trustee Mettler,
nine (9) building permits for buildings at a total estimated cost
of $23,575.00 were ordered granted.
Superintendent of Public Utilities Henning was directed to
remove the cross -arms from the three -light electroliers in the busi-
ness district, about 60 in number, and replace same with single
lights. He was also authorized to make certain changes in incor-
rect house numbers now existing in various parts of the City.
On motion of Trustee Spooner and at the request of Superin-
tendent Benning, the Clerkwas directed to advertise for 10,000 pounds
of No.6 D.B.l.P. wire for re -wiring primary circuits.
It being the concensus of opinion of the Board that the
new truck should not leave the City Limits, the Fire Chief was in-
structed that it should rot respond to outside calls.
R. W. Bentley applied for a reduction in nater rates. The
matter was left in the hands of the City Clerk and superintendent.
