was instructed to secure the beat settlement possible from salt San
Joaquin `:alley Packing Company.

place of business at No. 11 South Sacramento Street.
Gus KuchIs was refused a license to conduct a card room at
Mo. 119 tiorth Sacramento St., upstairs.
A certificate was received from San L. Ro'ers, Director of
the U. S. Census, certl :i:l._Iy that the population of the City of Lodi,
taken as c January ist, 1920 is 4850.
Fire Chief' Stark's report of fires for the month of Novem-
ber was read and ordered filed.
:RESOLUTION L0. 112.
W:TEP.EAS, an error vias =ade in the Tax Roll for the City of
Lodi for 1920, by the C_ty Assessor, in failing to enter soldier's
exelption of #400 on property assessed to Nannie J. Carr; also an error
_ in assesait.� the :port%+ 45 feet of Lots S and 9, in block 45, to Phil-
; 1_: Frey and also the same property to Alta wagers, the amount of said
asses_r.:en t being 41150; it is therefore
RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be, and he is hereby, author-
ized to correct said tax roll by Ira._{ino the necessary changes in the
totals , as passed upon by the Board of Equalization of the City of
Lodi.
The fore ging resolution was adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Hale, -Rich, Hickok, Crose and Montgomery.
Foes: sone.
Absent: gone.

RESOLVED, that the Diagram prepared and submitted by L.F.
•3arzellotti, City Engineer, showing, the district affected and ben-
efitted by the improvement of, and to be assessed for t he cost and
expen ses of the Improvemex t of Elan Street, ( as descr(bbed in Reso-

the City Clerk is hereby airected to endorse said aoproval on said
