HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 1077In the City council City of Lodi Lodi, California RESOLUTION N0. 1077 WEEMS, pursuant to proceedings heretofore had before this City Council, as may be ascertained by reference to its minutes for meetings held on April 16, 1941 and May 7, 1941, sealed proposals for the purchase of certain equipment for use of the public Utilities Department of this City namely two auto trucks, were received, publicly opened and declared on Wednesday, the 7th day of May, 1941, and, WHEREAS, after due consideration and comparison of said bids and of the equipment offered therein, this City Council has determined that it is to the public interest to reject all of said bids or proposals and to purchase said equipment or as much thereof as may be necessary in the open market, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, that each and all of said bids or proposals be and the same are hereby rejected. The Clerk will return the bidding deposists of each bidder forthwith. FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED, that this City Council hereby elects to purchase such equipment or so much as may be necessary in the open market. - - - - - - - 0 - - - - - - - - - Certified to be a full, true and correct copy of Resolution No. 1077 as passed and adopted ift a special meeting of said City Council held on Wednesday, Lay 14, 1941 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmen, Bull, Graffigna, Riggs and Weihe NOES: Councilmen, None ABSENT: Councilman, Steele (Signed) J.
