RESOLUTION 0 ' ' 1WARD
I
WHEREAS, in accordance with law and order
of this City Council, a "Notice 'to Bidders" was
published in time, form and manner as is in such
instances required, as is evidenced by affidavit on
file and of record with the City Clerk of this City
a copy of which notice is annexed hereto and made
part hereof, and,
WHEREAS, among other things, said notice
specified that sealed bids would be received by
this City Council on Wednesday the 7th day of August,
1940, and,
WHEREAS, sealed bids as above stated, were
received, opened and declared on the ,said 7th day of
August, 1914.0 and this City Council did then and
there order that the same stand submitted for
consideration to and until 8 o'clock P. M. of
Wednesday, the 21st day of August, 1914.0, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that this City Council
in open meeting on this 21st day of August, 1940
does hereby reject all of said bids save and except
that of, -
to whole is hereby awarded the contract to furnish
the materials specified and install the same at the
price stated in its bid, this City Council herein
declaring that the said bid is the lowest and best
bid received.

Certified to be a full, true and correct copy
of Resolution No. 1059 of the City Council of the
City of Lodi as passed and adopted in a regular
meeting of said City Council held Wednesday,
August 21, 1914.0 by the following vote:
