The minutes of the adjourned re;ul ar meeting of July 25th were ,aed and approved. A comm,:_nication from state senator J.A.Rominger was received and ordered filed, the same relating to the need of rigid economy in state a penditures. A letter from the state purchasing agent in regard to a second- hand sprinkling viagon v✓as referred to Trustees Hale and Crose. A letter addressed to J.A.Hern ing, Superintendent of Public Util- ities from the State Railroad Commission and containing assurance that the present variations of voltage in supply lines would shortly be remedied rias referred to the files of the clerk. y. Sr_aalor applied for appointment as Deputy L:arshal. The i:ionthly reports of the larshal and City Water Inspector crere ordered filed. Pour small building permits amounting to $ 550.00 were granted. City Lnginear Barzellotti .:awing prepared the plans and specif- ications for the improvement of'Church Street, the Board approved the same by the passage of Resolution ITo.152 by the following vote: - Ayes: Trustees, Crose, Hale, Rich and';lontgomery.
