RESOLUTION
OF
APPRECIATION
presented to:
James Lewis
In recognition and appreciation of your participation in assisting the City of Lodi toward meeting
catch basin labeling requirements as outline in the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System
Storm Water Pollution Act.
Your undertaking of the labeling of 200 catch basins with a "No Dumping - Drains to River" sign
was a multi -faceted project. It entailed formulating a plan to acquire the necessary tools,
organizing volunteers, and providing safety training prior to actually installing the signs. These
signs will remind citizens to avoid dumping toxic materials into our storm systems.
We hope your project is accepted by the Boy Scout District Board for approval as one of the many
requirements you must fulfill to achieve Eagle Scout ranking.
You are to be commended for your resourcefulness in approaching the City and performing a
service that will be beneficial to our community for years to come.
SIGNED this 181h day of December, 1996.
