of Trastees being all w
resent, after adjour ent as set forth
in the preceeding minu.es, took their seats and the Clerk
delivered .into each of them proper certificates of election
and imposed the constitutional oath of office. He thereupon
called'the meetipg to order. On motion of Trustee Shattuck,
seconded by Trustee Roach, 47.A. Spooner was no4minated for re-
election to the Presidents chair and on unanimous vote he
was so elected. President Spooner then took the chair and'pro-
ceeded with the appointments of standing carmnittees of the Board:

J. C. Burson then -appeared before the Board and made inform -

Tabernacle, a reli-ious corporation, in the year 1925 on a lot
at the corns of C arch & Locust Streets statim that the Board
of Coe. -qty Super7istirs had refunded County Taxes. The Clerk
objected to ,:he statement t^,a.t tax had been assessed in error,
stating that the lands had been legally assessed to three sep-
arate owners as ;hey appeared of record March 2nd.,1925 and
that Bethel Tabe--macle did not acquire title until the 10th of
the same month. At the order of the President, none dissenting,
the matter was referred to the City Attorney.
C.A. Gerlach President of Lodi Volunteer Fire Depertnent
appeared in behalf of J.W.La.ndback and l'.H.Rodacker, Assist-
arnt Chiefs of the local department whose tray for the quarter
ended December 513t. 1925 lad been withel$ on account of report-
ed absence f rcr; she City. YTr. Gerlach :las instructed to have these
men file clans rith the City and�each would be considered upon
its merits and in the li ht of his statements.
The Clem submitted the offer of Miss Mary A. Brant to sell
to the City for street purposes the nest 20. feet of Lot 1 in

;- street between Central Rz 7ashipgton _"r=Maple Street' -to the
€ :westerly continuation, of -Harold Street. The matter was referred
E __ to the Corsnittee on Streets.
In the matter of the im-orovement of that part of Pine St.
betWeen Hutchins & Rose Streets; the City Engineer offered plans
and specifications and the sme were apnrove� and adopted 'op :-
