Upon motion -of Trustee Black, seconded by Trustee Ki�eney, all
bids for pumps and motors were taken under advisement for not more
than ten ' days .
Trustee :Keeney moved, seconded by Trustee BlacX, that all bids
for furrisinS purps be rejected and the Board proceed to purchase in
the open market, which motion was carrl?d.
In the matter of the a, plication of Southern Pacific Company
for an order authorizing the extension of a siding at made across
Tokay street,in the City of Lodi, copy of Decision ;o. 5187 of the
Railroad Coerission was received and ordered filed.
The Central Pacific Railway Company raving on !:arch 9, 1918,
filed its acceptance of Ordinance ::o. 94, the follo;ving resolution was
introduced by Trusts? Keeney:
RESOLVED, T '-k T UHMERFAS, heretofore , and on the 11th day of
February, 1918, Ordinance No. 94 was finally passed and approved by
this, the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi, and by 7. 0. dale,
President of said Board of Trustees, and as the Executive of said City
of Lodi; and
'S:tn.dS, Central Pacific Railway Company has filed its written
acc-atanca of the aforesaid Ordinance in accordance with the provisions
t'r_?reof with t:;13, the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi;

found as a fact, and ?stabllshed of record, that th? written. accept-
ance of said Crdinarce by the said Central Pacific Railway Company
