RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council approve the plans and specifications for the above
project and authorize advertising for bids.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This project consists of furnishing and installing sprinklers, turfing,
trees, walkways, park lighting, two tot lots, and equipment and park
furniture for a 15.3 -acre park expansion of Peterson Park/Basin.
Optional bid items for two lighted tennis courts, a basketball court
and an in-line hockey court will also be included in the bid proposal.
FUNDING: The money for this project will becoming from the Storm Drain and Parks and Recreation
Development Impact Fee funds. A request for appropriation of funds will be made at
contract award.

available funds.)
