BACKGROUND INFORMATION: In November 1995, Res. 95-113 revised the class specification for City Engineer, and placed the position in the Management benefit group. At that time there was no adjustment to the Control Point. A survey of the City's management survey cities reveals that the control point should be adjusted to. $70,393. It is recommended to adjust the Control Point to the survey mean of $70,393. COST: The cost is subject to City Manager discretion in assigning a salary to the incumbent within the Control Point range. The current salary of the City Engineer is $73,175. FUNDING: General Fund.
