BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lodi,
San Joaquin County, California, that SLANLARD OIL COMPANY OF
CALUPORNIA be and said Company is hereby granted the right and
station
license to install and operate service/racilities, for the
line
purpose of .furrilshin/ and oil and the service usually
furnished by such stations to airplanes and vehicles at and
on the air strip known as 'SBURY AIR STRIP" now in the
possession of the City of Lodi pursuant to ex "interim permit"
granted by the United State of America',
This right and license is granted with the understand-
ing, and subject t o the condition, that such service station
and service station facilities shall cover, not to exceed,
10,000 sq. ft., and that the exact location thereof shall be
determined by and approved by the City Engineer of the City
of Lodi upon the said air strip, which air strip is described
as real property situated in the County of San Joaquin, State
of California, and more particularly described as follows:
"The North half of the Southeast
quarter and the Southeast quarter of the south-
east quarter; the Northeast diagonal. half of the
Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter: the
Northeast diagonal half of the Northeast quarter
of the Southwest quarter; the Southwest diagonal
half of the Southwest quarter of the Northeast
quarter; the South half of the boutheast quarter
of the Northwest quarter; the South half of the
North half of the Southeast quarter of the
Northwest quarter: all in Section 19, Township 3
North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and
lvieridian, San Joaquin County. California.

This right €.nd permit fare also granted subject to all
the terms and conditions contained within, or implied from the

said "interim permit," and subject to all rights of the United
States of America and of any and all department or departments
thereof.
This right and permit shall exist for a term of one
tl ereaffter
year hereafter, and until cancelled by order of said
City Council upon thirty days written' notice to the said
permittee.
It 1 s understood that as far as said C i t g of Lodi
said
is concerned, in case/STANDARD OIL CGMFANY CF CAL IFORNIA should
at any time desire to discontinue the use or operation of said
service station, or should it at any time be required to dis-
continue the same, it, the 5.72.1.d Company, may remove from said
service station permises any and all improvements, equipment
anu facilities which said Company may install thereon, provided
that the said City of Lodi doss not guarantee that the United
States of America, or any department thereof, will consent to,
or acquiesce in, such ri,.ht of removal, but that all ri,hts
hereby granted, or herein -mentioned, are subject t o the
rights and powers Of the United States of America existing
by virtue of said interim permit, or otherwise.
