RESOLUTION NO. 1209
RELATINU TO CERTAIN SPECIFIED SALARIES AND WAGES
WHEREAS, in contemplation of proposed expendltures for
the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1944, various commissions and
heads of departments have filed recommendations for increases
in salsrie9 or wages of employees under their several jurisdictions
and this City Council has reviewed the same,
BE IT RESOLVED;
(1) tnat the recomn�enda tions of C. L. White, City
Engineer dated July 1, 19" be approved and that from and after
the First day of August, 1944 the salaries or wages of the
following city employees shall be a8 follows (inclusive of the
temporary war time increase granted by Resolution No. 1194,

August 1, 1944 the salaries paid the following firemen shall
be as follows, inclusive of the temporary war time increase
granted by Resolution No. 119

Effective from and after April 1, 1945 the salary
paid Victor N. Blum, fireman shall be increased $10.00 per month
from $180.00 to 6190.00 which amohnt includes the temporary war
time increase granted by Resolution No. 119..
(4) That the of the Commission
dated July 1S„ 1944 be approved in regard to the salary paid
Ar^rid 0. Fauly as Director of Recreation, be increased from
$3100.0o to W00.00 effective August 1, 1944 both of 'i -ch amounts
include the temporary war time increase granted by Resolution
No. 1194. In this instance, this increase shall not become
effective until similar increases are allowed by the respective
Boards of T r+.kstees of Lodi Elementary School and Lodi Union High
School Districts so that the proportions of this salary shall be
paid one fourth by each school district and the remaining one half
by this o�t7. The automobile allowance of the Director of
Recreation is continued in the same amount as heretofore.
