HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 1168In the City Council City of Lodi Lodi, California RESOLUTION NO. 1168 A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE RULES FOR PHOCEDURE AND METROIS OF PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION OF THE CITY OF LODI RESOLVED, that the "Procedure and Methods of Personnel Administration, Lodi, California" approved by this City Council June 3, 19142 by its resolution No. 1127, be, and the same are hereby amended in part to read as follows: That the last paragraph on Page No. 19 of the said Procedure and Methods relating to holidays shall hereafter read as follows: Legal holidays to be observed by employees of this City shall be: January 1st., February 22nd., May 30th., July 4th., Labor Day, November llth., Thanksgiving Uay and December 25th and such other days as the City Council may set to be obaerved as holidays by order entered in its minutes. Vaien a holiday falls on Sunday, the following Monday is designated as a holiday. For those functions of the City service that do not permit the observance of holidays, employees who cannot be spared on any holiday shall be compensated by equal time off or by additional compensation. The Lity Clerk shall, on the adoption of this resolution, mail a copy thereof bb the Personnel Clerk, board of eview. 0 Certified to be a full, true and correct copy of Resolution No. 1168 of the City Council of the City of Lodi as nassed and adopted in a regular meeting of said iouncil held on uedncsday,June 2, 1943 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmen, Goffield, Veihe and NOES; Councilmen, None ABSENT: Councilmen.
