RESOLUTION NO. 1166
RESOLVED, by the City Courcil of the City of Lodi
(1) That the annexed "Specifications for the
Publication of Legal Notices in conformance with Section No. 874
of the Municipal Corporation Act as Amended by the Statutes of
1939" be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted as the
official specifications under which the annual contract for the
publication of said notices shall be let for the fiscal year
ending June 30, 19L4:
(2) That the City Clerk publish a notice inviting
sealed proposals for the publication of the matter described in
said specifications, such proposals to be received and opened
in this City Council on Wednesday, June 16, 1933 at a regular
meeting of this Council.

The foregoing Resolution No. 1166 regularly passed
and adopted in regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Lodi held Wednesday, June 2, 19143
by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen, Coffield, niggs, Spooner, We the
and Rinn
NOES: Councilmen, None
ABSENT: Councilmen, None

SPECIFICATIONS FOR Tht FUBLICATION OF LEGAL NOTICES

The publication let hereunder shall consist of ail ordinances,
resolutions, reports and notices including publications in
special assessment proceedings, required by law to be
published in a newspaper of general circulation.
(2) A11 matter shall be set in solid brevier or eight point type,
except headings, which shall be set in eight point black -
face type unless specially ordered in larger type. Headings
shall be separated from subject matter by not more than two
leads.

revised proof sheets shall be furnished the City Clerk and
no publication w i 11 be recognized for payment unless said
proof shall have been approved by him. At least twenty
plain proof copies of the matter printed shall be furnished
the City Clerk, together with affidavits of publication in
duplicate, without extra charge. The price bid shall
include one copy of each and every issue of the publication,
mailed or delivered to the office of said City clerk, during
the term of the contract to be let hereunder.
Whenever possible, complete publication shall be had on one
page and in one column thereof, and notices of less than one
colunn shall be printed in one column.
Bidder may be required to certify on bills rendered that
the price charged therein is no more than that which would
be charged others for publications of like character.
A reasonable rental charge for type w i 1 1 be allowed when
set-up matter is removed from the publisher's office for
job printing.
Bidders will quote price by column inch.
Bid f oM will be mailed to prospective bidders on request.
No biddin, deposits will be required.
