RESOLUTION NO. 1164
A RESOLUTION ESTABT JSHIIG THE OF{'FICE OF CITY
ATTORNEY AND FIXING HIS DUTIES AND COMPENSATION
RESOLVED, that from and after the effective date of
Ordinance No. 289 as adopted by this City Uouncil on the 21st day
of April, 190, the office of City Attorney of the City of Lodi
is hereby established and the duties, term of office and
compensation thereof shall be as follows:
(1) In addition to the duties prescribed by statute,
the City Attorney shall attend all meetings of the City council,
except when excused therefrom.
(2) The City Attorney shall be appointed by resolution
of the City council and he shall serve thereafter until his
dealth, resignation, removal or until his successor shall have
been appointed and shall have qualified.
(3) The salary of the City Attorney shall be $100.00
per month, payable monthly, provided that under the terms of and
for the period named in Resolution No. 1156, adopted April 7,
1913, the said salary shall be 1125.00 per month and so payable.
In addition to the above stated monthly salary, he shall receive
payment for necessary expenses incurred in the performance of
his duties and such additional compensation for services of an
extra ordinary nature as may be allowed from time to time by the
City Council.
RESOLVED, also, that Glenn viest, City Attorney of
this City, be, and he is hereby continued in office, under the
terms. conditions and compensation provided herein.
