HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 1156In the City Council City of Lodi Lodi, California RESOLUTION NO. 1156 WHEREAS increases in living costs occasioned by war conditions have seriously affected all of the officers and employees of this City, and, WHEREAS the scale of salaries and/or wages now paid by this city is below that prevailing in similar occupations in this locality and is considerably less than is paid by other cities in California during the present war emergency, and, WHEREAS, this situation was carefully and fully considered by this City Council at its meeting of March 17, 1914.3 and prior thereto, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, that, in view of the foregoing, and as a war measure only, the monthly salaries and/or wages of the following named regular employees or officers of the City of Lodi, Shall, from and after the effective date of this resolution and for one year hereafter, be at the rates set forth herein, subject however, to the approval, if such approval be found necessary, of the Wage and Hour Livision of the United States Department of Labor or of the U. 6. Treasury Department.
