HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 2137In the City Council City of Lodi Lodi, California RESOLUTION NO. 2137 WITHDRAWING CERTAIN PROPERTY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF LGDI FROM THE WOODBRIDGE RURAL COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT WHEREAS, this City Council did by Ordinance No. 616, effective June 20, 195$, approve the annexation of that certaiir real property, contiguous to the City of Lodi, designated as 75th Addition, Lads South of East Pine Street, and WHEREAS, there is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Lodi the Certificate of the Secretary of State of the State of California, executed by said Secretary of State on June 23, 1958, referring to said Ordinance No. 616 and the annexation of the real property described therein, and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this City Council that said property designated as 75th Addition, Lands South of East Pine Street, be withdrawn from the Moodbridge Rural County Fire Pro- tection District, now therefore, El IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL CI' THE CITY OF LODI AS FOLLOWS: That that certain real property, designated as 75th Addition Lands South of East Pine Street, and particularly described as fol- lows, to wit: A portion of the Southwest Quarter of Section 6, Township 3 North, Range 7 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, San Joaquin County, California, and more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of the said Southwest Quarter of Section 6; thence westerly along the South line of said Quarter section 735.57 feet (44.58 rods); thence northerly along a line parallel to the East line of said Quarter section and also a boundary line of the City of Lodi 1191.22 feet, more or less, to its intersection with the North line of East Pine Street, formerly known as Pope Avenue; thence easterly along ttie North line of East Pine Street, also a City boundary line to its intersection with the East line of said Quarter section; thence southerly along the East line of said Quarter section 1227.0 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, containing 20.1 acres more or less. annexed to the City of Lodi by Council Ordinance No. 616, be and it is hereby declared to be withdrawn from the Woodbridge Rural County Fire Protection District. Certified to be a full, true and correct copy of Resolution No. 2137 passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in regular meeting held July 2, 1958.
