MAPLE STREET VEST OP STOCKTON STREET BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi as follows* Seotion 1. It is the intention of the City Council of the City of Lodi, acting in accordance with the provisions of Part of Division 9 of th• Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, to vacate, close, and abandon following portion of street situated as public street the 3 in the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of California, more particularly described as follows: The North Twenty (20) feet of Lot 69 and the South Thirty (30) feet of Lot 70 of Lodi Barnhart Tract, as filed for record November 5, 1906, in Vol. 3, at page 46, Book of Maps and Plate, San Joaquin County Records. Reserving, however, and excepting from the vacation of said street, the permanent easement and right therein to construot, maintain, repair and operate lines for public utilities, both publicly and privately owned., in, over, and across that certain piece of land, insofar as our title extends, situate, lying and being in the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of California, and more particularly described so follows; The North Sixteen (16) feet of the South Twenty (20) feet of Lot 70 of Lodi Barnhart Tract as filed for record November 5, 1906, in Vol. 3, at page 48, Book of Maps and Plats, San Joaquin County Records. Section 2. NOTICE IS HUBBY CIYEN that this City Council does hereby fix WEDNESDAY, MAY 21, 1958, at the hour of 8:OO o'clock p.m. and the CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CITY HALL, LODI, CALIFORNIA, as the time and place when and where all persons interested in or objecting to the Vacation herein proposed may appear before this City Council and be heard. Seotion 3. Upon adoption of this resolution the Superin.. tendent of Streets shall post, or cause to be posted, notice of such paisage and of the time and place set herein for public hearing, in accordance with and in time, form and manner as prescribed by law for the vacation of public streets. Section 4. This resolution shall be published one time in the "Lodi News..S.ntinel", a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Lodi, said publication to be completed at least fifteen (15) days prior to said hearing.
