HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 2068In the City Council City of Lodi Lodi, California RESOLUTION NO. 206$ WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lodi believes that the full development of the recreational resources of the area is in the best public interest of the people of said City and the State of California, and WHEREAS, Pardee Reservoir, owned and operated by the East Bay Municipal Utility District, is situated dear this City and offers a potential fishing and recreational area of substantial value to the people of the City and the State, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City* of Lodi desires to cooperate and assist the East Bay Municipal Utility District to establish, develop, operate and maintain Pardee Reservoir as a public fishery, and WHEEEAS, the Wildlife Conservation Board has funds available which are necessary to provide facilities for a public fishery at Pardee Reservoir; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lodi, State of California, rinds that the Pardee project would be of great benefit to the people of the City of Lodi, and to other people of the State, and that the Wildlife Conservation Board favorably consider the appropriation of funds as necessary for the proper development of a public fishery at Pardee Reservoir as contained in the Application of the East Bay Municipal Utility District, and that a copy of this Reso- lution be forwarded to said Wildlife Conservation Board. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Lodi, State of California, this 16th day of October, 1957, by the following votes: AYES: Councilmen - Fuller, Katzakian, i',itchell, Robinson and Hughes NOES: Councilmen - None ABSENT: Councilmen - None Certified to be a full true and correct copy of resolution No. 2068 passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in regular meeting held October 16, 1957.
