BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi as follows: Section 1. It is the intention of the City Council of the City of Lodi, acting in accordance with the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 o the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, to vacate, close, and abandon as public street the following portion of street situated in the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of California, more particularly described as follows: The East 10 feet of the West 20 feet of Pleasant Avenue from the South line of Kiser Avenue to the Horth line of the Southern Pacific Company Right of Way and adjacent to Lot 11, Burr's Addition as recorded in Volume 1, page 4, Book of Maps and Plats, San Joaquin County Records. Section 2. NOTICE IS ERREBY GIim that this City Council doss hereby fix WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 7, 1957, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. and the CITY COUNCIL Com, CITY HALL, LODI, CALIPOI NIA, as the tin and place when and where all persons inetrested in or objecting to the vacation herein proposed may appear before this City Council and be heard. Section 3. Upon adoption of this resolution the Super- intendent of Streets shall post, or cause to be posed, notice 1. of such passage and of the time and place set herein for public hearing, in accordance with and in time, form and manner as prescribed by law for the vacation of public streets. Section 4. This resolution shall be published one time in the "Lodi News -Sentinel", a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Lodi, said publication to be completed at least fifteen (15) days prior to said hearing. Certified to be a full, true and correct copy of Resolution No. 2039 passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in regular meeting held July 17, 1957. HENRY A. GLAVES , JR. City Clerk
