RESOLUTION NO. 2019
1X$ 9,. atleast three sides of the hereinafter described
territory are contiguous to the City of Lodi, and
UMIREAS, the "nozation of the here i"trer described
territory will contribute 'to the orderly grwth of the City,
Commencing at the point of intersection between
the South line of the North 10 acres of the.East 33
acres of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 2 and
the East line of said Southwest Quarter, which point
is also a corner of the present boundary line of the
City of Lodi, and running northerly along said East
line and its northerly extension, said line being also
a City boundary line, to its intersection with the
center line of West Lockeford Street, which, point be-
ing also a corner of said City boundary line; thence
westerly along said center line and City boundary
line a distance of 429.25 feet; thence southerly and
parallel to the East line of the Northwest Quarter
of said Section 2 to the South line of said Northwest
Quarter; thence Westerly along said South line 117
feet, more or less, to the Southeast corner of Lot
39 as said lot is designated on the map entitled,
"Gerard Tract," filed August 8, 1916, at page 62,
Vol. $,, Book of Maps and Plats, San Joaquin County
Records, which point is also a corner of the present
City boundary line; thence southerly along the west
line of the East 33 acres of the Southwest quarter of
said Section 2, and City boundary line, a distance of
799.•83 feet, more or less, to its intersection with
the South line of the Worth 10 acres of the East 33
acres of said Southwest.Quarter, which point is also
a corner of said City boundary line; thence easterly
along said South line and City boundary line a distance
of 546.25 feet, more or less, to the point of be-
ginning, containing 14.3 acres, more or less.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said territory be designated
"loam lane Annex" as an appropriate -name to be used in reference
to said territory further in these proceedings*
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that hotiee is hereby given that
this City Council has fixed Wedno•s , the 5th day of dune,
1957, at 8:00 p.n. of said day and the City Council Chambers,
City Hall, Lodi, California, as the time and place when and where
protests of the owners of real property within the boundaries
of the. territory proposed for annexation will be heard and coa-
siderede At any time not later than the hour set for hearing
objections to the proposed annexation, any owner of property
within the territory proposed to be annexed may fila written
protest agaitltt the proposed annexation. Sue* pretdets $hall

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of the City of
Lodi be, and he is hereby, directed to cause a copy of this re,sv-
lution to be publiaJawd at least twice in .the "Lodi News�-Sentinel",
a newspaper printed, publish -ed, and circulated in the City of
Lodi, and at least twice in the "Steaktoa Reterd", a newspaper
printed, published aad Arculated outside t"ht City of Lodi,
all in the time, faft and manner required by haw.
