Item A. 1,500 Tons/FOB Plant Granite Construction Stockton $37,980 Item B. 150 Tons/Stockpile City Limits American River Asphalt Folsom 4,690 Item C. 2000 Tons/Hopper of Paver F.T.G. Construction Lodi 64,320 BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This contract provides asphalt materials for various street maintenance projects carried on throughout the City during the fiscal year. Specifications for this project were approved on May 15, 1996. The City received four bids for the asphalt materials as shown on the attached bid tab. This year's total contract price shows an average six percent increase in price per ton. ' 2,000 Tons/Hopper of Paver F.T.G. Construction, Lodi $64,320 WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends awarding all three items of the contract for Asphalt Material for Fiscal Year 1996/97 as shown above; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lodi City Council that the award of all three items of the contract for Asphalt Material for Fiscal Year 1996/97, be and the same is hereby awarded as shown above, in the amount of $106,990; and FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby approves appropriating $106,990 from the Street Maintenance Fund for this project.
