HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - June 19, 1996 (73)CITY OF 1 Foa; COUNCIL COMMUNICATION AGENDA TITLE: Contract Award for Rock and Sand Material for Fiscal Year 1996/97 ($8,180) MEETING DATE: June 19, 1996 PREPARED BY: Public Works Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council adopt the attached resolution awarding all three items of the contract for rock and sand material for fiscal year 1996/97 as follows, and appropriate funds in accordance with the recommendation shown below. Item 1. 100 tons/aggregate base FTG Construction Lodi $ 970 Item 2. 300 tons/concrete sand FTG Construction Lodi 3,234 Item 3. 250 tons/crushed rock Granite Construction Stockton 3,972 BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This contract provides rock and sand materials for various street maintenance projects carried on throughout the City during the fiscal year. Specifications for this project were approved on May 15, 1996. The City received two bids for the three items for this project as shown on the attached bid tab.
