HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 1974In the City Council City of Lodi Lodi, California RESOLUTION NO. 1974 DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI TO VACATE THAT PORTION OF ORANGE AVENUE LYING NORTH OF SYLVIA DRIVE BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of Lodi as follows: Section 1. It is the intention of the City Council of the City of Lodi, acting in accordance with the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, to vacate, close, and abandon as public street the following street situated in the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of California, rnore particularly described as follows: That portion of 0ranve Avenue lying North of Sylvia Drive in Crescent Manor No. 2 as said street is desig- nated on map entitled "Crescent Marcor No. 2" filed March 28, 1956, Volume 14, Page 89, Book of Neaps and Plats, San Joanuin County Records. Section 2. NOTICE I5 HEREBY GIVEN that this City Council does hereby fix WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 1956, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.rn. and the CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CITY HALL, LODI, CALIFORNIA, as the time and place when and where all persons interested in or objecting to the vacation herein proposed may appear before this City Council and be heard. Section 3. Upon adoption of this resolution the Super- intendent of Streets shall post, or cause to be posted, notice of such passage and of the time and place set herein for public hearing, in accordance with and in time, forrn and manner as nrescribed by law for the vacation of public streets. This resolution shall be published one time in the "Lodi News -Sentinel.'', a newspaper of-eneral circulation printed and published it the City of Lodi, said publication to be corr:nleted at least 15 days prior to said hearing.
