HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 1879In the City Council City of Lodi Lodi, California RESOLUTION NO. 1879 FIXING TAX RATE IN PROVISION FOE REVENUE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR $EGINBINQ JULY 1 1955 AND ENDING 1i7Nss 30, 1956 r` J WRIEXAS, this City Council did on the 6th day of July, 1955, adopt a beet by the pussies of ©r finance No. S33, therein setting forth the several amounts of revenues from property taxes neces- sary to support its departments for Chs carr*nt year and to pay the boded or other indsbtedness of the City, and fdLAS, the assessment roll of all properties in the City of Lodi subject to taxation for municipal purposes returned by the County Auditor as equalised by the Board of Supervisors of San Joaquin County and by the Stets Board .of Rgttalisation dis- plays a total assessed valuation of $24,154,500.00, now there- fore BE IT luisouso, that taxes in provision of revenue to support the various departments of the City of Lodi and to pay the dost of oolleetio n of said taxes be, and the MN are hereby levied upon 411 of t$e as$sssed value of said taxable property at the following ratios (expressed in cents per $100.00 of said assessed value), to wit: FOR TETE GEARRAL FES at �82 FOR THE LI Fiat A TOTAL TAX RATE OF $1.00 On the adoption of this resolution, the City Clark shall transmit a certified copy thereof to the County Auditor of San Joaquin City as wided in Section 51511 of the Government Code of this State and said City Clerk shall cause a copy thereof to be pablish*d one time in the "Lodi News -Sentinel" in compliance with Seotion 36936.1 of said Government Code. *** *** *** *** *** *** Certified to be a true copy of Resolution No, 19 of the City Council of the City Of Lodi *s pass *nd adopted in a regularly adjourned meeting held August 24, 1955, by the follow- ing rotes AYES: Councilmen - NOES: Councilmen - August 25, 1955 Fuller, Hughes, Kitchell, Richey and Robinson None ABSENT: Councilmen - None LAMS , City Clerk
