HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 1827In the City Council City of Lodi Lodi, California RESOLUTION NO. 1827 FIXING TAX RATE IN PROVISION FOR REVENUE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1951+ AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1955 WHEREAS, this City Council did, on the 7th day of July 1954, adopt a budget by the passage of Ordinance No. 510, therein setting forth the several amounts of revenues from property taxes necessary for such support, and WHEREAS, the assessment roll of all properties in the City of Lodi subject to taxation for municipal purposes returned by the County Auditor as equalized by the Board of Supervisors of San Joaquin County and by the State Board of Equalization displays a total assessed valuation of $22,792,765.00, therefore BE IT RESOLVED, that taxes in provision of revenue to support the various departments of the City of Lodi and to pay the cost of collection of said taxes be, and the same are hereby levied upon all of the assessed value of said taxable property at the following rates (expressed in cents per $100.00 of said assessed value), to wit: FOR THE GENERAL FUND at $0.822 FOR THE LIBRARY FUND at $0.14 A TOTAL TAX RATE OF $1.00 On the adoption of this resolution, the City Clerk shall transmit a certified copy thereof to the County Auditor of San Joaquin County as provided in Section 51511 of the Government Code of this State and said City Clerk shall cause a copy thereof to be published one time in the Lodi News -Sentinel in compliance with Section 36936.1 of said Government Code. * * * *** *** *** *** *** Certified to be a true copy of Resolution No. 1827 of the City Council of the City of Lodi as passed and adopted in regular meeting held July 21, 1954, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmen - Mitchell, Richey, Robinson and Fuller NOES: Councilmen - None ABSEAjT: Councilmen - Hughes a.
