RESuLUTION NO. 1697
FIXING TAX RATE 1N FEOvISIUN FOR
REVENUE F0h ThE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
JULY 1, 1952 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1953
WHEREAS, this City Council did, on the 25th day of June,
1952, adopt a budget by the passage of Ordinance No. 461, there-
in setting forth the several amounts of revenues from property
taxes necessary for such support, and,
WHEREAS, the assessment roll of all properties in the City
of Lodi, subject to taxation for municipal purposes returned by
the County Auditor as equalized by the Board of Supervisors of
San Joaquin County and by the State board of Equalization displays
a total assessed valuation of $20,229,050.00, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that taxes in provision of revenue to
support the various departments of the City of Lodi and to pay
the cost of collection of said taxes be, and the same are hereby
levied upon all of the assessed value of said taxable property
at the following rates (expressed in cents per X100.00 of said
assessed value), to wit:
FW- THE GENERAL FUND at 40.82
FUR EE LIBRARY FUND at $0.18
A TOTAL TAX RATE OF $1.00
On the adoption of this resolution, the City Clerk shall
transmit a certified copy thereof to the County Auditor of San
Joaquin County as provided in Section 51511 of the Government
Code of this tate and said City Clerk shall cause a copy thereof
to be published one time in the Lodi News -Sentinel in compliance
with Section 36936.1 of said Government Code.
Certified to be a true copy of Resolution No. 1697 of
the City Council of the City of Lodi as passed and adopted
in regular meeting held September 17, 1952 by the following
vote:
AYES: Councilmen, Rinn. Richey, 'Lobinson, Preszler,& Haskell
NOES: Councilmen, None
ABSENT: Councilmen, Norie
