HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 1628. 1 In the City Council ✓: 1 City of Lodi Lodi, California RESOLUTION NO. 1628 FIXING TAX ATE IN PROVISION FOR REVEJUE • FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1951 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1952. WHEREAS, this City Council did, on the 18th day of July, 1951, adopt a budget by the passage of Ordinance No. 443, therein setting forth the several amounts necessary to support the depart- ments of the City of Lodi in the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1951, and fixing the amount of revenues from property taxes necessary for such support, and, WHEREAS, the assessment roll of all properties in the City of Lodi subject to taxation for municipal purposes returned by the County Auditor as equalized by the Board of Supervisors of San Joaquin County and by the State Board of Equalization displays a total assessed valuation of t 19,719.940.00 therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, that taxes in provision of revenue to support the various departments of the City of Lodi and to pay the cost of collection of said taxes be, and the same are hereby levied upon all of the assessed value of said taxable property at the following rates (expressed in cents per 4100.00 of said assessed value), to wit: FOR GENERAL FUND at 4 0.82 FOR LIBRARY FUND at 4 0.18 A TOTAL TAX RATE OF 4 1.00 On the adoption of this resolution, the City Clerk shall transmit a certified copy thereof to the County Auditor of San (1) Res.
