ACING RESOLUTION NO. 1.25 ADOPTED JUNE

NORTH OF THE NORTH LINE OP WEST WALNUT ST.
WHEREAS, Public convenience and necessity require that
parking in front of the United States Post Office on South School
Street be limited so that more persons can be accommodated for
short periods of time than specified in Resolution No. 1425
adopted June 16, 194B, and that access to the eurb mail deposit-
ory plsoed by the Post Office Department in front of said post
office be not barred by perked automobiles, therefore,
BE .IT RESOLVED AND HER Y ORDERED, That said Resolution
No. 1.25 be amended in that portion thereof releti.ng to limited
parking time on School Street by adding thereto the following
amendment, vist
"One lour Perking Limits On School StteA betotl 1,604-6
ford Street end Lodi Avenue, exempt for a distance of one hundred
seventy (170) feet north of the north line of West Walnut Street,
in which one hundred seventy feet, there shall be no parking of
vehicles from the north line of Walnut Street to the north line
of the part of the curb Barked it RED. Prom the north line of
said red narked ourb to the alley intersecting School Street,
one hundred seventy feet north of the north kine of Walnut Street,
parking of vehicles shard be limited to twelve (12) minutes and
the curb along the spa** where twelve -minute parking is permitted
shall be marked CRESS and the parking miters located *long said
green marked sone shall be plainly marked and set to such twelve -
minute interval*
This resolution is adopted In conformance with the provisions
of Crdinanee No. 339 and the penalties imposed by Ordinance No. 137,
of which ordinance, Ordinance No. 339 is r endatory, shall apply
to all infractions of the regulations imposed hereby.
The Superintendent of Streets shall cause the curbing along
the portion of South School Street to be plainly painted in ac-
cordance with this resolution and shall cause the parking meters
installed thereon to be altered to be in agreement herewith.

This resolution adopted in regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Lodi bald M r 17, 1950.0 all members of
said City. Council being present and voting in favor of the
passage of the same.
