HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 1513In the City Council City of Lodi Lodi, California RESOLUTION NO. 1513 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING ELATION PRECINCTS, DESIGNA- TING THE POLLING PLACES THUMP, APPOINTING ELECTION OFFICERS AND FIXING THEIR COMPENSATION FOR THE GENER- AL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD TUESDAY, APRIL 11, 1950. WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of Section 36503 of the Government Code of this State, a General Municipal Election is to be held and conducted in the City of Lodi on TUESDAY, the llth day of April, 1950, for the purpose of electing three (3) City Councilmen for the full term of four years each, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, that the following election precincts be established; that the polling places of said precincts be at the loca- tions hereinafter designated and that the officers to conduct said election, (each being a registered elector in his respective precinct), and their compensation be as follows: CONSOLIDATED VOTING PRECINCT "A", comprising San Joaquin County Precincts 1, 2, 3, 23 and 26, and the polling place thereof Shall be at San Joaquin County Building, 210 North Sacramento Street, and the officers to conduct said election in said precinct shall be: Inspector: -Orren H. Gillette, 601 North Sacramento St. Judge: -Mrs. Noma L. Posey, 323 West Elm Street Clerk: -Mrs. Constance Darden, Rt. 2 Box 513 Clerk: -Leroy G. Steward, 416 North School Street CONSOLIDATED VOTING PRECINCT "B", comprising San Joaquin County Precincts 4, 5, 6, 7 and 22, and the polling place thereof shall be at R. L. Patton's Garage, No. 25 South Hutchins Street and the officers to conduct said election in said precinct shall be: Inspector: -Mrs. Helen A. Botts, 211 S. Crescent Ave. Judge: -Mrs. Beulah M. Fore, 617 W. Pine Street Clerk: -Mrs. Gladys F. Wood, 407 W. Walnut Street Clerk: Mrs. Eleanor D. Carter, 121 S. Avena Avenue -1- CONSOLIDATED VOTING PRECINCT "C"; comprising San Joaquin County Precincts 8, 9, 18, 24 and 25 and the polling place thereof shall be at Needham School, No. 411 South Church Street, and the officers to conduct said election in said precinct shall be: Inspector: -=lira. Latta W. Crosa, 225 5. Church ,street Judge: -Mrs. Amelia L. Weber, 1005 S. Pleasant Ave. Clerk: -Mrs. Lois I. Combe, 211 S. Pleasant Ave. Clerk: -Mrs. Lena G. MacDonald 1116 S. Lee Avenue CONSOLIDATED VOTING PRECINCT "DM, comprising San Joaquin County Precincts 10, 11, 13, 15 and 19, and the polling place thereof shall be at Lincoln School, No. 11 South Cherokee Lane, and the officers to conduct said election in said precinct shall be: Inspector: -Mrs. Grace A. Brierly, 330 E. Locust St. Judge: Mrs. Zeima E, Rigga, 521 E. Pine Street Clerk: -iMrs. Julia Wakefield 501 E. Pine Street Clerk: -Urs. Ruth A. Lerza, 508 E. Pine Street CONSOLIDATED VOTING PRECINCT TME", comprising San Joaquin County Precincts No. 12, 14, and 16, and the polling place thereof shall be at Mrs. Clara Watson's home, 237 Flora Street, and the officers to conduct said election in said precinct shall be: Inspector: -,Mrs. Florence McLachlan, 209 E. Oak Street Judge: Mrs. Clara L. Matson, 237 Flora Street Clerk: -Mrs. Julia B. Porter, 116 S. Washington St. Clerk: -Mrs. Ora V. Villinger, 302 E. Oalc Street CONSOLIDATED VOTING PRECINCT "F", comprising San Joaquin County Precincts Nos. 17, 20, 21, and the polling place thereof shall be at 838 South Central Avenue, and the officers to conduct said election in said precinct shall be: Inspector: -Mrs. Sara W. Wright, 747 5. Central Ave. Judge: -Mrs. Bather C. Twing, 711 S. Washington St. Clerk: -Mrs. Helen E. lattice, 426 Concord Street Clerk: -Mr. Walter J. Larimer, 309 Maple Street -2- The polls far said election shall be open from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. on the day of this election.
