MOAB, on the 18th day of January, 1250, this City Council received the petition of Pm L. Horton, moor of 2.54 sores of lard in the Nit of Section T, Township 3 North, Bongo 7 last, M.D.& & M. located on the asst side of Mato Highwoy 4, (Cherokee Lane), rsgaeating that said land bill annexed to the Oity of Lodi, and, UMW the said petition was referred to the City Planning comsissiem of this City, which Commission reported favorably on the annexation of this lend, also recd ding that this City Council oonsider, in connection therewith, the annexation of other properties lying between the present city limit line at the north boundary of " Hkieg.r Addition • and " Walnut .wobard Addition " and the city limit limo running along the north line of Section 7, Taweaship ant Range aforesaid, and, .E, the owner of more than one-fourth of the area and more than one-fourth of the assessed !alms of the territory lying in the area recommended by the City Planning Commission for additional annexation has expressed his willingness to have his properties annexed, end, W114, this City C®unail finds that it is to the advents,. of the Properties now within the City boundaries that all of this territory be annexed to the City of Lodi in order to 'moraine soatsel of its orderly development; to afford impronaonts thereon bettor fire protsetion and to extend sanitary oamvenienses thereto, therefore, HI IT HSSOL4SD, that it is the inteption of the City Connell of the City of Lodi, hereby ezxwsssd, to annex the uninhabited territory hareix, after described to said City in e000rdanoe with proceedings had wad to be had ocnforming to the provisions of the • Annexation of Uninhabited (1) Territory jut of 1939 •, designating said territory, for the purposes hereof, as • H TIIH • as an apprcPriate nems thirster*.
