HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 1420In the City Council City of Lodi Lodi, California RESOLUTION NO 1420 RESOLUTION PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES AT ANY TIME ON A PORTION OF SOUTH SCHOOL STREET IN FRONT OF THE FEDERAL BUILDING. WHEREAS, in order to allow unlimited access to a curb side letter box erected by the Postoffice Department in front of the Federal Building on South School Street, north of Walnut Street, it is necessary that sufficient' space be left vacant so that persons desiring to use this letter box can drive up to the same, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby ordered, that no vehicles be permitted to be parked or left standing on that part of the east side of South School Street between the north property line of West Walnut Street extended westerly and a line parallel there- to and forty (0) feet northerly from said extended north line of West Walnut Street. The Superintendent of Streets shall cause the space designated herein to be properly marked and signed to indicate the purpose hereof and the restrictions of this resolution shall become effective after said marking and signing is completed. Violation of the provisions of this resolution shall constitute a miadereanor and be punished as such as provided in Ordinance No. 137 of this City. 0 Certified to be a full, true, and correct copy of Resolution Noy 14209 the the City Council of the City of Lodi as passed M May 5, 1948. ity Clerk
